Some fun facts about peeps I just read about on NPR.
1. In 1953, it took 27 hours to create 1 marshmallow Peep. Today, it takes 6 minutes.
2. The first Peeps were squeezed one at a time out of a pastry tube and the eyes were painted on by hand. Now, machines create 3,500 Peeps’ eyes per minute.
3. Americans will eat more than 600 million Marshmallow Peeps and Bunnies this Easter.
4. Popular ways to eat Peeps: stale, microwaved, frozen, roasted, or served as toppings on pizza.

When I read the title for a nanosecond I thought you were making an announcement that started with Peeps. Whoa 27 hours what did they do??!?! Count the sugar processing?
Wow, who knew they put them on pizza. I might try that.
